Pros

People there are positive, and the environment is semi professional. It is friendly during the two fifteen minute breaks, but other than that everyone is just cooped up in their cubbies. They give out cash prizes every morning, but if your not an over achiever then you aren't in the drawling. ( the same people win all the time.) but the thought and thrill of it is nice. ( we have a ping pong table in the office, and they think its cool, but is that really professional, I mean really! with all the cash prizes they give out they should have a pool table and air hockey for crying out lout) :)

Cons

Turn over rate is NO DOUBT 50/50 if not more of a turn over. This is a pushy job if you're a "nice guy" this may not be the job for you. They want you to have a certain number of sales a week, ( which is obvious) along with 80 dials a day and overt 2 hours of talk time each day. ( keep in mind it feels as though you are calling and harassing realtors.) With the script hi _____ my name _____- I'm calling you about the house off of _______ St. I believe you represented the buyer on is that correct? ( then let them know of the program, and ask them to call their clients and ask them if they want ADT) ( it sucks because tons/almost all say they will call their clients and then dodge your calls and ignore you, never giving you a response.) So, I recommend to find someone that is interested in ADT ( friend, family,) and get them a good deal and get your sales. You have to stay up on your sales if you don't hit your goal, they will call you into the office, fire you and then escort you out of the building, while someone packs your stuff.( I see it almost ever Monday) If you like putting in 40 hours a week and going to and from work secretly fearing your job, THEN THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU. Some people have it and some people don't. I like my job because I'm okay at it. I'm just tired of seeing so many people come and go from this place and them not being as honest as they could be among hiring people. They will tell one person one thing and then tell another person another. Creating great confusion. This is a boring and bland work place luckily we get to decorate our cubicles. ( keep in mind people will mess with your stiff and will touch it, if your are let go or absent. If you have children to take care of this is good money but if you stress easy, or at all you may want to work else where.( I.E. say your goal is 5 sales a week and you only sell 3, then the next week you have to sell 7 that next week and so on. I haven't hit under goal to often since I have been here but they have fired people over it in their first month and half.) They tell you that you make awesome commission but they don't mention that you HAVE to sell 10 ADT security systems to even start making commission the pay is 600 a week so like 450 after tax) once you see how many people come and go from here its actually a bummer of an environment. If it was truly professional, people wouldn't be fired so often.

Pros

Good company culture, pretty good pay if you are good at knocking on doors. Pretty good benefits. Health, Vision, Dental, 401k.

Cons

The worst thing is the hours. You have to be knocking on doors from 2:30 till 8:30 p.m. no appointments, no real plan. They just give you a list of addresses and you go see who you can find at home. Not super crazy about the training and how they teach you to greet the homeowners at the door. I don't like to "mislead" by saying things that aren't completely true. They tell you the average rep sells 12 deals a month but the numbers don't show that. Turnover is crazy! People are in and out of this company very quickly. Only a few survive and stick around just long enough to find something else so they can spend some time with their family.
