Pros
Not a difficult job. Once you are familiar(and depending on the amount of work), you can really set your own pace. Company provided phone, car, and equipment are nice. Everyone I worked with was helpful and reliable. Can get decent tips.
Cons
Lots of driving. Sometime things juts break and you can't do anything about it. An extension of that is explaining the reliability waiver to every customer. Company car maintenance can be a chore. You are at the mercy of whatever jobs they throw at you, especially if they are short staffed. Can be exteremly frustrating dealing with the volume of work. Like wise, work can be booming in the summer and absolute dead in the winter. Pay can really fluctuate. Not always a Con, but weather has a huge impact on your work.
