Depending on the store manager, there is decent work life balance. There are some benefits such at a higher education benefits for roughly 5k which will prove valuable if you choose to use them. You have the ability to mentor technicians and hone your ability to have conversations with peers and subordinates which can positively affect how your location performs.
Cons
Though this may not apply to all areas of the country, the Phoenix, AZ, area seems to be unique. Phoenix is the most profitable and most competitive market for Safelite. With that comes a group of higher management that look out for each other and only allow those they truly like based solely on personality to rise in management. Safelite in Phoenix is very difficult to rise in management in based off this and you will find yourself stuck in mid-low management levels here. Pay is somewhat low for the amount of work and responsibility you will have. It's pretty good for someone to get some managerial experience but after a couple years, other similar roles pay at least 15-25% higher.
