Pros

- The work is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. If you're looking to save people's lives, this is the place to be! - The people are motivated and mission driven. A lot of folks have a personal connection to our mission so be prepared for moments with powerful stories where there's not a dry eye in the room. - Leadership shares and amplifies the same values and mission with clarity and passion, especially the COO. She is inspirational to watch in action. Leadership cares deeply about the company and their teams, inside and outside of work. - Remote work with "in-person" team culture. Leadership and HR does a great job at organizing in-person retreats and meetings, which are awesome because you get the opportunity to meet and bond with your team which makes it easier to develop relationships. - High growth company with a lot of opportunity and mobility. If you work hard and smart, you will be rewarded. - Competitive salary, stock options, and great benefits, including wellness reimbursements (massages and gym memberships, sign me up!!), unlimited PTO, professional development.

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but SafelyYou is not for everyone. If you're looking for a normal 9-5, this might not be the right fit for you. Yes, it's a start-up so be prepared to lean in and work hard. If you are entrepreneurial, flexible and love to lead in ambiguous situations, this is a great place to be. You will learn a lot and fast. You will be challenged. And most importantly, you will grow.

Pros

The mission is meaningful and the work has an impact in dementia care. There are some talented people across teams who genuinely care about residents and customers. The pace is fast and you will learn quickly.

Cons

There is a consistent gap between what leadership communicates and what teams experience operationally. Employee feedback is regularly collected but rarely reflected in meaningful change. Support is often promised during challenging periods, but follow through can feel inconsistent. Turnover, has been high during certain stretches. That level of churn creates instability across cross functional teams and affects customer confidence and outcomes. Greater accountability and steadier leadership would improve morale and retention. Clear career paths are difficult to identify. Growth opportunities can feel either undefined or overly complex to navigate, which makes long term development challenging for high performers. Representation in leadership roles, especially for women in nontraditional positions, is limited. Expanding diversity at the executive level would strengthen decision making and culture.
