- Good first pharmacy technician job; great experience to learn retail pharmacy and the basics - Minimum 24 hours per union contract
Cons
- Corporate doesn't care about us: understaffed almost 99% of the time, they rather spend money on promotions than QoL for their employees - Management chain is very messy and most higher ups don’t have a clue of what our jobs entail or how hard it is but continue to dump more work on their employees - So many different employee contracts; very inconsistent with benefits and rules. - Management tries to pay you as little as possible with a little amount of hours as legally possible - Union is useless and has one of the worst benefits I have ever experienced in my life - No opportunities to grow in the company. There are only two roles: Pharmacy Clerk and Pharmacy Technician. The pay for both is bad and they have basically the same job duties (what’s literally the point of those two titles if they have the same job duties). They refuse to transition longtime employees to full time to save money. - Management definitely has favorites
