Pros

It was a good call center for the most part. Better than average.

Cons

When I went to work there the Safeway/Cerebrus merger was already in the works. After working in the call center for 11 months, they decided to "lay off" a large percentage of the people. Didn't have any warning. They just told a bunch of the call center staff that we were laid off after strictly coaching us to make the "merger" to sound like it was a terrific opportunity for shoppers and employees.

I can't think of anything in particular. It's has ben a few years sense I've moved on.

Pros

Friendly and helpful colleagues, weekly pay and flexible schedule

Cons

When it is busy, it is very busy. Lunch/Break may get pushed back or even denied in extreme cases because there is no one to cover for you.
