Pros
You get a lot of hours as long as you look like you don't care about your job and/or look like a low achiever doing the bare minimum. Also Safeway values customers with a lot of items in their baskets and do not care how the long the line gets. My Safeway location - Fruitvale Ave - had thefts hourly and when security was told, the answer was "we can't do anything about it." the place felt like a jail because they had so much tech. trying to stop theives.
Cons
You have to look like a low achiever or else you get picked out as someone that may want the boss' position even though you may or may not care at all.
