It’s exciting to be part of a growth and transformation story, with an opportunity to have a real impact on our SMB customers and through them the wider economy. That rubs off on the people, and Sage has a great culture that is increasingly focused on innovation and growth. I’ve worked at Sage for over 10 years and it’s offered me many opportunities for personal and professional growth, I don’t think that’s common. It’s is a very good employer, providing opportunity, flexibility and appropriate reward for those with ambition and passion.
Cons
If you want a fully remote working environment, this is not the company for you. Whilst it accommodates fully remote workers for certain roles, it’s a hybrid environment with min 3 days in the office (or with customers!) for the majority. Personally I believe this is the only way at scale to create the culture needed to deliver outstanding results for customers - and also an environment that is fun to work in! At the same time, it’s great to still have the flexibility of not going in every day.
