Pros

Raise structure, cool co-workers, you will definitely get your breaks as scheduled which is appreciated. Also, they offer free meals to their employees in the cafeteria. I worked in a restaurant and even with my employee discount I couldn't justify the prices for my meal every shift.

Cons

Sage Hospitality is a Bureaucracy. A lot of the customers are very difficult to work with and act very entitled. Sage embodies a customer is always right attitude. Also, they take out a TON of taxes

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your employment on Glassdoor. I am glad you enjoyed your experience working in one of our restaurants and felt that our pay structure, benefits and the quality of fellow associates was good. At Sage we truly do value our customers and though some customers may be difficult, our culture is to treat them all with respect and try to resolve their issues. Thank you for your time with Sage. We hope to have you work with us again.

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
