Pros

Decent work schedule, benefits, great co-workers, company culture.

Cons

General managers didn't seem to care much for their line-level employees, favoritism, hard work not rewarded, no training programs for skills development.

Thank you for your feedback on your Sage experience. I am glad that you noticed our company culture as being very important to us. We strive to ensure we have good benefits for our associates and are hiring great people. I appreciate your honesty about management and could not agree with you more that it is OUR ASSOCIATES that keep the ship sailing smoothly. We do know that happy associates create happy guests and we truly strive to “enrich lives, one experience at a time”! That does need to start with our associates. I will look into your concerns and again really appreciate the feedback. Good luck to you in your future career growth!

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
