Pros

Excellent benefits and perks 401k retirement plan, paid time off, holiday pay, paid sick time of and good tuition reimbursement.

Cons

A lot of tasks but not enough pay. Doing 4 jobs for 1 person pay. Only advancement for the one they want to give. Sometimes it feels like you are working in a construction site not hospitality!

Thank you for your review on Glassdoor. I am glad to see that you appreciate the benefits that Sage offers our associates. I would be interested to learn more about the job you are in that seems to be understaffed? It is also Sage’s goal to offer opportunities for advancement to our associates. If this is not happening, again, I would be interested in learning more of the details. I take pride in ensuring Sage puts into action what we say we provide. I hope that your career with Sage continues to grow and that you find more opportunities for advancement with us. Feel free to connect with me by emailing myvoice@sagehospitality.com

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
