Pros

Meeting some great local talent to work with. Vibrant staff with lots of potential.

Cons

Very bad morale amongst employees. Upper Management is too submissive to owners, they do not stand up to owners to increase hourly pays to match the going rate in the city. Too much work on hourly employees while upper management micromanages. Also they are so out of touch with operational staff, they work conceptually rather than seeing first hand how decisions affect staff and operation. Lastly, very low advancement opportunities if you don't know the right people. Nothing based on merit, or knowledge.

Dear Logan Front Desk, I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback regarding your current working experience at the Logan. I agree with you that we have some of the very best local talent at the desk with a lot of potential and our goal together should be to provide the very best working environment. As a leader here, my goal is to be approachable and ensure everyone’s voices are heard. We do try to provide our associates with different ways to voice their thoughts/concerns through regular departmental meetings or Sage associate surveys but if that is not acceptable, you can always reach out to me personally. Your experience at the Logan should be rewarding and fulfilling and when we fall short, it is personally disappointing. My goal in the coming weeks is to meet with the front office team and listen to your concerns so that we can ensure you have the very best working environment. Sincerely, JoAnn Wrenn

Pros

Great people, strong culture, and exposure to a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, and ownership groups. I had the opportunity to work with talented colleagues who genuinely cared about one another and the success of the company. There are opportunities to take on meaningful responsibility, and if you’re willing to work hard, you’ll gain tremendous experience.

Cons

As the company has grown, some departments have become stretched thin, and processes have not always evolved at the same pace. Teams can spend significant time reacting to day-to-day priorities, leaving less time for process improvement, automation, and strategic initiatives. Workloads can be demanding, particularly during peak periods.
