Pros

The pay starts at 15 per hour

Cons

The management allowed me to be harassed incessantly after reporting the person multiple times. The person who harassed me was a manager from another hotel they brought in to "train" us. Except this person was clueless to anything front desk related and were of no help at all. Instead, they spent their entire time hounding me relentlessly. When I finally had enough, I was punished for speaking out, and because my "tone" wasn't "respectful."

Unequivocally, Sage Hospitality does not tolerate harassment of any kind and we have policies, processes, and training in place to prevent and address these claims. We urge all of our associates to report any harassment incident to their Manager, Department Leader, or the People Resources Director who will promptly investigate the matter and take appropriate corrective action. Due to the nature of these anonymous Glassdoor review, we don’t know who you are, which makes it much more difficult to investigate and address your claim. Our policies include a commitment to non-retaliation, so we would greatly appreciate it if you reached out so we can conduct a thorough investigation and work to resolve the issue. To do so, please email myvoice@sagehospitality.com or call the Sage Home Office People Resources Department at (303) 595-7200. Thank you.

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
