Pros

Great network of coworkers who work really hard and have fun together. Very cool portfolio of companies/brands/locations, overall, too.

Cons

Poor executive leadership and overall management with very little room for growth for employees within the company. Low pay and bonuses to start but then workload and responsibilities consistently increased without any compensation, or growth opportunities for mid-level employees. Executive leadership often oversaw roles that they didn't have any work experience in so they weren't able to properly lead team members and understand their jobs, needs, challenges, etc.. A lot of the management policies also felt very outdated and micromanaged with very little flexibility for WFH or employee appreciation, support, etc..

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
