Pay is the only pro

Cons

Supervisor and management can gossip about their employees without any consequences. HR will not help you with issues. Once you have an issue with someone higher up than you, you are blacklisted from moving up in the company. Do not work for this company it’s the worse thing ever and your mental health will suffer here just like mine.

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
