Pros

Big corporation that if you start in a lower position with them & have the drive to move up, they can help with that if they like you

Cons

Unless you started out with them & not a company takeover, you might like it.

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
