Pros

Perks - especially if with a brand or flagged property (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt) Highly sought after company. Lots of properties especially in Denver. When Walter learns of a problem it gets solved.

Cons

Long hours, undervalued at work. Middle management is disrespected and overworked. Leaders do not support their department heads. When asking for help the manager is pushed out. People and Culture (new work for HR) allows directors to run rampant especially if they are drinking buddies with directors. Sage needs to ask employees for good ratings here because of how negative it is to work for them. Company has gotten to big for Walter to fix everything.

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
