Pros

Great for making connects in the field and in the business and learning the basics of the av industry.

Cons

The first time you tried that not reliable if you want to keep a roof over your head and food in your refrigerator as the programming department gets really slow in the winter time due to the location of the job and the nature of the work.

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
