Pros

When I need assistance or guidance I know that there is a resource available within my own team or at the home office. The "spirit of hospitality" is genuinely shown from executive team to the onsite teams. Working with Sage Hospitality has made me feel more empowered and valued than any other organization I have worked with in the past.

Cons

I have had stronger and more affordable benefit packages provided by previous employers, but the benefits available from Sage Hospitality are competitive with other hospitality organizations.

Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
