We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the people you worked with. We think we have tremendous staff in our Company and we place high value on our Company culture and promote a professional and open working atmosphere. We also appreciate that you thought that “flexible working hours” was another advantage in your employment with our Company. We do try, whenever possible, to be as flexible as we can in terms of working hours for our staff so that they can maintain a health work/home life balance.
I am sorry to hear that you felt as if “most days go by slow” and that there was not a lot of mobility in the company. We encourage all of our staff to ask their direct supervisor for more job tasks, in the event that any given day is slow. This does not seem to be a common piece of feedback that we hear, though I am sorry that you felt this way. Lastly, as a Support Staff Specialist, there are many avenues for job mobility. All of our Registration Coordinators, Patient Care Coordinators and most of our Office Managers started out as a Support Staff Specialist and were promoted to these other roles as they gained more on-the-job experience. You mention that you were employed with Nystrom less than one year. This may have been a factor why you were not promoted to these other positions.
