Thank you for your review. We want to thank you for acknowledging that there is an abundance of flexibility in being a Marriage and Family Therapist here at Nystrom. We give our clinicians as much autonomy and independence as possible with providing as much and best support. Most of our positions enable our clinicians to determine how many hours they want to work each week as well as the specific hours worked. We agree that the staff we have within our organization are great, so thank you for commenting on that. I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the benefits package that is offered and also feel that the HR staff and senior staff are "unorganized and unprofessional." We value your feedback and would appreciate the ability to discuss any of your concerns in an effort to make your employment more enjoyable within the company. Please feel free to reach out to any member of management to discuss your concerns so the company as a team can help in making your employment within the company a more enjoyable one for you. Thank you.

Pros

Supervision and some internal CEUs are provided. You can be flexible with your schedule. My office is very supportive and I have good coworkers.

Cons

I was warned about burnout and too many clients, but my experience was the opposite. I have not been able to build a caseload in a year and am being forced to part-time with loss of some benefits because there aren't enough intakes. I am not the only person in my office experiencing this. The pay is low as well, there is no stipend or reimbursement for training outside of the company even while the company does not offer specific modality training, and the company has cut salary pay model as well as cutting several holidays including Juneteenth. The company's actions continue to show that they care for profit over people.
