Hi,
I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your employment at Nystrom other than the fact that you enjoyed working with the providers.
It sounds like you may have been terminated for violating policies and procedures and you specifically stated in your review that you felt that we have "stupid policies." I believe most of our staff would agree that all policies we have in place are reasonable. In fact, many of our policies and procedures are set forth by licensing board guidelines and the MN Department of Human Services which are in place to protect patients and provide higher quality care to our patients.
We do not "look for ways to catch our employees doing something wrong" as you suggest and are very supportive and accommodating to our employees.
If you would like to talk to someone at Nystrom about your review, we would enjoy setting up a time to talk with you on a one-to-one basis. If so, feel free to contact us.
Thank you.

Pros
Leaders share a common goal of increasing access to mental health services. Particularly appreciate the legal work that the team does.
Flexible work environment
Cons
Health insurance and pay models can be confusing at first
Supervision and some internal CEUs are provided. You can be flexible with your schedule. My office is very supportive and I have good coworkers.
Cons
I was warned about burnout and too many clients, but my experience was the opposite. I have not been able to build a caseload in a year and am being forced to part-time with loss of some benefits because there aren't enough intakes. I am not the only person in my office experiencing this. The pay is low as well, there is no stipend or reimbursement for training outside of the company even while the company does not offer specific modality training, and the company has cut salary pay model as well as cutting several holidays including Juneteenth. The company's actions continue to show that they care for profit over people.
