Pros
The mission, values and vision of Nystrom is at the forefront of client care and staff development/wellness, I've felt it from the very beginning. The workflow systems and organizational structures in place keep things running smoothly and efficiently. The tools and resources available to support clients is impressive and the support for providers is wonderful to see- in terms of client referrals, advocacy and accuracy of overall standards of care because of the layers of support from different departments; admin, HR, quality assurance, etc.
Cons
One downside, similar to starting any new job really, is that your PTO balance starts from the beginning which makes it difficult to take paid time (to care for children or other emergencies). Although, Nystrom is flexible and very understanding with time off when those unexpected life things happen, which is refreshing and relieving. And you do start accruing right away.
