Pros

Free lunches, casual Fridays, flexibility, some coworkers, patients, some therapists/providers, location convenience, benefits, great fleece jackets and tee shirts and you can do whatever you want and not get fired and even get promoted in some cases..

Cons

Upper management is atrocious. There is absolutely no follow up if something has been reported. Hipaa that are reported are considered a violation of their gossip policy, which by the way, nobody adheres to this policy and that is the only policy they seem to be concerned with. The turn over is ridiculous. The people that are there the longest seem to be the most toxic and problematic people. There is absolutely no communication at all. If you are a patient, please know that some of your records are viewed and at times laughed at. Support staff go above and beyond with absolutely no reward but stress. When interviewing for the position, they do not inform you what exactly you are getting into. Rules only apply to certain staff. They provide new hiRe trainings after you have been with the company for a year. It is not a safe confidential place to work.

Pros

Supervision and some internal CEUs are provided. You can be flexible with your schedule. My office is very supportive and I have good coworkers.

Cons

I was warned about burnout and too many clients, but my experience was the opposite. I have not been able to build a caseload in a year and am being forced to part-time with loss of some benefits because there aren't enough intakes. I am not the only person in my office experiencing this. The pay is low as well, there is no stipend or reimbursement for training outside of the company even while the company does not offer specific modality training, and the company has cut salary pay model as well as cutting several holidays including Juneteenth. The company's actions continue to show that they care for profit over people.
