Pros

This is for MN specific Ellie Mental Health. Office decor and design was nice. Great co-workers and - depending on what location you were at - the site directors could be great. Now that Nystrom has taken over, hopefully they will offer more organized and effective support services and business plans. They are describing the situation as a joining of the two organizations, but Nystrom bought Ellie when it was put up for sale to generate money quickly to infuse the franchise side of the business with cash.

Cons

Prior to the organization being sold to Nystrom and Associates, there were some frantic cost-saving measures happening that really negatively impacted clients and staff. The leaders were in over their heads and seemed to be sucking up to the new CEO that came in - trying to slash costs quickly because that was the priority.

Pros

Supervision and some internal CEUs are provided. You can be flexible with your schedule. My office is very supportive and I have good coworkers.

Cons

I was warned about burnout and too many clients, but my experience was the opposite. I have not been able to build a caseload in a year and am being forced to part-time with loss of some benefits because there aren't enough intakes. I am not the only person in my office experiencing this. The pay is low as well, there is no stipend or reimbursement for training outside of the company even while the company does not offer specific modality training, and the company has cut salary pay model as well as cutting several holidays including Juneteenth. The company's actions continue to show that they care for profit over people.
