Pros

Seems like it would be a great company to work for.

Cons

Seems that most new hires get let go before the 90 days grace period. They leave you hanging if there is a mishap and they do not let you review the video, before you are let go. They say there is a reason, but the reason I was let go I feel was unjust, as no one was hurt. Many things have happen worse than what happened with me and they still work there. It's my opinion they let people go before the 90 days, as they do not want to pay insurance. According to workers on the dock many have been let go before the 90 days is up; it's a revolving door.

Pros

You don’t have anybody looking over your shoulder. You are home every day. The pay is pretty darn good. Good work/life balance

Cons

Inward facing camera. Used as a disciplinary tool and not a coaching tool. Point system.

Thank you for helping us keep the freight moving for 3 years! We appreciate your feedback and are grateful you enjoy being a part of the Saia family. We also value knowing your concerns about the driver-facing cameras, so thank you for sharing those details.
