Pros
Great product and Great people. My direct leadership team supports me and my direct reports. We rarely lose deals to a competitor. Biggest challenge is budget and battling the status quo in our sales cycles. We promote from within.
Cons
Competition is strong. Main competitor calls their new releases and products very similar names now which creates confusion in the market. I’ve been here for 4 years now and have not had the opportunity to increase my base. We do not have levels for the role. Once you are in, that’s it. Sell more to make more mentality even when quota is raised each year. Quota goes up, commission rate goes down. I love the company, but there is a lot of dissatisfaction with levels and growth potential in role to the point it becomes a big retention issue for my team members that have been here over two years. Sales is still reluctant to hire reps not physically located in territory.
