Pros

SJHS genuinely cares about their patients and their mission. They are very committed to providing the best possible care to anyone and everyone that comes through the door. They treat their patients and colleagues with respect.

Cons

The pay is not as high as other competitors in the area - but the work environment is a step above.

Pros

Small rural hospital, colleagues feel like family, good security operations in place (cameras, policies, etc).

Cons

Could be boring if you like action.

Pros

Pay is decent, there is a cafe, work is light in comparison to other area pharmacy's and they are willing to work with your availability with the exception of every other weekend, that is a must. You can take it off sometimes.

Cons

Favoritism is obvious. All management seem fearful to enforce accountability. Rude and insufficient technicians are promoted while good ones leave because they can no longer stand the culture. Some pharmacists treat technicians as if they are their personal assistant, asking them to do things they are perfectly capable of doing when they see the tech(s) have been running ragged all day or are currently juggling many tasks and could actually use help themselves. They don't take a second to consider if the tech is busy. Some do, but most don't bat an eye. Lack of Growth.
