Pros

Good medical benefits. Relaxed work hours. Always something new developments. Casual dress code. Good products, but still more room for growth.

Cons

Sick Senior management team. After Salary.com went to public, Senior management does nothing except checking stock price 20 times per day, having meetings all the day to talk about stock price. They did nothing to improve the products. Very poor communication to employees, always cheating. No humanity during layoffs.

Pros

- Great place for an entry level person starting out. - Free Lunch - Known for their high quality compensation data set - BCBS Healthcare is great - Most individual contributors are really nice -Management knows their internal processes well.

Cons

-Upper Management is haphazard with poor communication. -VC's are squeezing every ounce of profit at the expense of employees. -Pay is docked for not hitting in office participation quota. -RIF's are used to remove older workers and alleviate their salary compression issue. -Goals and priorities are constantly changing. -Tasks are constantly added then focus shifts to something new. Not well thought out. - The constant changes make it feel like a test environment for a business case. Changes are not well thought out and poorly implemented. And then scrapped when they fail. - There is little regard for the individual contributor. - Advancement opportunities are dependent on political circle not performance. -Base pay is low. Takes 4 years to make competitive industry compensation.
