Often people are suddenly being let go,people with good work history and community connections, and there is no real reason or explanation. The hospital does not include staff in any drastic changes. Magnet status seems to be more for publicity than genuine care. You can do a great job for years but when they drop you your efforts are forgotten. No opportunities for advancement. Pay structure plans are not competitive.
