Pros

My team was great. I did enjoy some of the people I worked with.

Cons

The compensation package offered by the company is not competitive, with bonuses that are disproportionately low. There appears to be a systemic issue where female employees who raise concerns related to sexual harassment, workplace culture, or management practices are either terminated or their positions are abruptly deemed redundant. The workplace environment fosters a 'boys' club' atmosphere that may be unwelcoming to women, characterized by condescension, disrespect, and a lack of credibility for their contributions. During my tenure of three years, despite assurances of career advancement, I encountered repeated delays without substantive explanations beyond being told 'not yet.' Upon submitting my resignation, I was unexpectedly informed via a Zoom call that I was being terminated, which was perplexing given my prior resignation notice. This incident raises concerns about the transparency and fairness of HR practices. Overall, the HR leadership appears to prioritize the interests of the executive team over the general well-being of the workforce, contributing to a challenging and unsupportive work environment. The benefits package offered by the company is notably lacking in competitiveness. With only 20 days of PTO and no additional sick time, particularly for a tech company, these provisions fall below industry standards. Certain departments' resistance to hybrid or remote work exacerbates employee burnout. Moreover, the maternity and paternity leave policies rank poorly compared to other tech firms in Utah. In conclusion, prospective employees seeking competitive compensation, an inclusive work environment, and opportunities for meaningful engagement may find better options elsewhere.
