Pros
The pros of working at Sally Beauty are that you’ll get to learn about new products as well as be able to test them, every month you receive at least one free new product. It’s a very fun environment with the right management. You’ll get two 10 minute breaks throughout the day plus your lunch of 30 minutes or more if you’ve worked past a certain amount of hours that day.
Cons
Working here also comes with its cons. You won’t get paid maternity leave unless you’ve worked with the company for over a year. There’s drama problems between coworkers/management in every store I’ve heard of. Management can be a joke so get to know your manager and ask questions during your interview because they may not always keep it strictly professional. When there’s an understaffed store in your district you will be asked to work over there but you’ll be paid mileage. Make the days you’re available and times very clear during the interview as it is very common for a manager to overstep their boundaries and demand you come in on days/times you’ve stated you’ll be unavailable.
