Pros

Busy and time goes by fast

Cons

If you're a race other than a latino women you will either not get hired or be fired shortly thereafter. Although most of the stores have a mixed customer clientele the staff in almost all of the stores in LA and its surrounding southern cities consist of about 80% latino. They're allowed to speak Spanish when non-latino customers are present. I've watched them give exceptional customer service to latino customers and treat them as if they're family, but with white and black customers they almost always give eye ball motions and head nods to signal to watch them for stealing. There are no black men working in any of the stores in the area I was employed in and the two black women who do work in my old area have very light skin. When you're not liked by a latino women they'll all gang up on you to get you out. It's really sad even if you love your job and good at it. It's as if they have the inability to look past the color of my skin. I felt as if I were in Mexico and not in America. I wanted to be apart of the team and be accepted but all attempts were shot down.

Pros

My store manager and team were wonderful! If you make the right moves you can move up the ladder reasonably quickly,

Cons

You can move up the ladder quickly because turnover is so high. Management will lie to you and tell you whatever you want to hear to keep you from leaving. Your experience is entirely dependent on who your store manager is and if they are willing to advocate for you. District management does not care about employees.
