Pros
Can be fun if you have good customers. Pay was alright since I lived at home.
Cons
My manager was too young and immature to run a store. The assistant manager took over for a few months and everything fell apart. It just went downhill from there. I was required to bring the keys to the store every morning. That meant every night I had to come by the store and pick them up or have my car open at my house so they could drop the keys off. I had to wake up early every day (yes, my days off too) and take the keys to the store. I was asked to work unpaid 3-4 hours a week! I was alone in the store for hours daily with pissed off customers that needed a manager (only managers can order salon equipment which was our biggest sale because we were surrounded by salons) and they were on lunch TOGETHER for half the day and got paid for it. I would have to tell them to come back later and when they did still no manager. They would turn their phones off or ignore my calls so I was completely alone. So if I made a mistake I got in trouble for it when I couldn't really help it. I put in my two weeks notice because my grandparents needed me to work at their business while my step dad and mom were in the hospital while he was dying with cancer and they asked me to stay another week (which I did). When I left they posted my picture on Facebook and said I stole from the company and I was this and that. Well, my fiance works for a police department so I flagged pictures and Facebook took them down. Luckily for them because I was in the middle of filing a police report against them. Point blank, unless you want a crock of crap, don't even bother with the fresh hell. They will take advantage of you no matter what you do.
