Pros
Team and the staff are lovely, new offers and deals, you learn a lot about other hair and beauty products e.g. if youre a make up artist, you'll have to know something about waxing or hair too because customers , especially retail customers, get very dissapointed if you dont have the knowledge about everything they want to buy. the job is very easy if you get use to it and work many hours, open and close the store. They offer you a Hair and Beauty Academy from when you start your job which can help you to raise your pay. You get a chance to visit salons in the area , if you drive you have to do basic health and safety checks, planograms and clean the stockroom.
Cons
Not enough pay for what you do. You will be asked to do everything so you have to count on yourself most of the time for the amount of responsibility you get. You can get bored very easily especially if you're a young adult. No commission, no pay back and benefits. They dont treat you like a good staff and give you only 30 minute break a day.
