Pros
-Compensation package is put together very well - management is incentivizing the right behaviors & making it possible for reps to make a lot of money if they do the things the company wants (new customers, hitting quota, etc). - Great startup culture with snacks/Friday lunches/transparency from founders. - Founders are incredibly smart and a huge asset internally but also during sales cycles - Recent sales management hires have brought some great perspective & have been advocates for employee/sales rep success -Engineering & customer success/support teams are a massive asset and are leveraged in sales cycles as differentiators - Potential to make a lot of money while working at a company that's growing incredibly quickly...equity is actually a valuable part of the compensation package, because of current and expected success of the company - Marketing alignment has improved quite a bit recently
Cons
- Fairly stressful environment but that said...not out of line with any high-growth startup. Expectations for the company are high with a great opportunity with the market & product timing, so pressure to succeed is in line with expectations for individual contributors.
