Pros
-Smart, driven, highly collaborative group of people -Empowering & trusting leadership team. This transcends not only in allowing employees to do their best work but also to take the time they need, when they need it. Kids have a snow day? No problem, log on/off as needed. You have a doctor's appointment midday? Great, take the time you need before and after. The bottomline? If the work is getting done and you're continuing to raise the bar, you will have the support and freedom you need to take care of things in your personal life. -Fast-paced, ever-changing environment* -As evidenced above, there's a great work-life balance. You do work hard and smart when you're working but you can and should be able to balance that with flexible hours, schedules, PTO, etc.
Cons
-*Ever-changing environment. We have gone through a tremendous amount of organizational change both in people and in strategy. The past few years have been a challenge for everyone, at every level. Those of us who have been here for a while have clung on to trust in leadership and that, with time, testing & learning, we WILL get on the right path. It feels like that path and that time has finally come. There's a palpable optimism internally. -Growing pains of a scaling company. You don't come to a company like Salsify and expect things to be on a straight path forward. You come here to learn and grow and experience the grit it takes to make a tech company successful. It's hard, it's taxing, but it's also hugely rewarding if you take a step back and see the big picture.
