Pros
At least they have good benefits
Cons
I worked here for just over two years. The biggest problem is the managerial culture. The people making the calls are not on the floor with the kids. Every time I would approach one of the supervisors (not the shift supervisor, but someone higher up with authority to make a change), I would be pushed away and gaslighted out of my position. This is not a job where you can feel psychologically safe. Additionally, there were violent and gang-affiliated kids throughout my entire time there. I got scrutinized by the higher management for asserting expectations. I got called combative by upper management multiple times. The people who scrutinized me the most never sat down with me. I had to go knock on office doors and address conflict because upper management was conflict avoidant. I hated this job. Do not work here. I am working through PTSD currently from this job.
