Pros
The people at Saltchuk are a very open and collaborative group, always wanting to move forward to strive for improving the company. The openness and availability of upper management has been a welcome surprise. The work is varied, engaging and interesting with Saltchuk owning and operating business in varying industries and locations. This has been a great step in my career and I can see working here for a long time.
Cons
The Saltchuk corporate home continues to grow which highlights the need to formalize policies and processes that were traditionally informal.
