Pros
There is a number of things I personally like about being in Sales. The fact that we get to meet with clients all over the country, and help these plants operate safer. We get to go behind the scenes of chocolate factories, oil refineries, and other large facilities and truly help them accomplish their goals. Over the years there has been some times when it got frustrating it upper management. However, it seems as though the tide is starting to turn, and middle management is being trusted to make changes for the better of the company. The company pays well, and gives opportunity to make more money with bonuses.
Cons
From a sales standpoint, there is quite a bit of travel when extremely busy. It can also be difficult balancing the amount of quoting/estimating help vs. amount of sales reps. It seems that is more of a balancing act, and can be frustrating at time.
