Pros
As a full time student, a role as a student assistant is ideal. The hours are typical Monday through Friday 8-5. You are off on holidays, they will make accomodations for your schedule, and your education is a priority. They were even willing to accomodate my summer internship. Great opportunity to network with professors and other faculty.
Cons
The older you are, the harder it is to get hired in a student assistant role. Applying freshman year and working there throughout your collegiate career is the best bet.
