Great work life balance at mid-market and below Get to work on interesting problems and customers are great, lots of down to Earth blue-collar companies that make a real impact in the world. I love being remote 90% of the time but also getting to meet with customers in person and learn about their business while also getting my hands dirty
Cons
Technology does enable customers to potentially spy on their employees, company doesn't do enough to dissuade customers from doing this There's been talk of using our camera systems to identify homeless encampments so hoping we never get to the point where we're enabling police to more easily harass people. If you stick around you're getting lower than market rates, need to make sure you reward people that stay at the company. DEI initiatives have faltered in the last two years
