My boss didn't have the coding chops of a high school kid. He had us tracking old static build files and asked us to resolve the merge conflicts with every pull, as if that wasn't totally insane and akin to moving sand w/ tweezers. I spent multiple hours on Zoom w/ my colleagues, walking them through Vue, Javascript in general, and often just writing their code for them. They presented this work as their own, to much praise from the VPs, while making absolutely no mention of me at all. They'd often ask a question on Slack, then delete the message from the archives to remove evidence that they had needed help.
