Pros
Flexible scheduling, amazing product, variety of customers to service (makes for some hilarious and memorable stories and experiences and knowledge). Job is fairly laid back without too many cringe-worthy expectations.
Cons
As a keyholder, you are expected to know the ins and outs of the store as if you were an Assistant or Store manager, including operations and technical aspects. For the amount of work put in, and the fact that you will essentially do the jobs of both the ASM and SM, the pay is a joke. They start you at an inflexible, non-negotiable rate of $10.00 and the pay raises are meager at best. It's not a commission-based sales job either, but there are opportunities for bonuses for FT-staff if the STORE meets it's monthly or yearly goals. So sadly if you're a fantastic seller/employee and you have an unsatisfactory co-worker, they can and most likely will screw you out of a bonus.
