Pros

- The company employ excellent talent, however do not then value the ideas and opinion of those individuals once it is within the organisation. - Samsung is a great name to have on your CV and will open a lot of doors to other organisations

Cons

- There are several incidents of racism, ageism and sexism that occur by the senior management team and there is nobody at a senior level that is willing to challenge those ideas and behaviours. Cultural differences aside, you can't operate in that way within a European environment and it very much compromises your morals and the way in which you are comfortable working. - The company will burn you out and then discard you. There is no loyalty to the "Westerners" they "buy in" to the organisation and the significant efforts they make to the organisation. - Within the European HQ, generally bullying is the management style of choice - Long working hours are expected and are the norm, no appreciation of going over and above will occur and there will be no celebration of successes before having to move rapidly onto the next task.

Pros

Healthcare premiums are low, deductible and co pay for HSA is very high. A few very good people

Cons

Get what ever you are “promised” in writing Absolutely no leadership Only company that I have ever worked for that does not have department level P&L. Pay is exceptionally low specifically for the Boston market. Lack of accountability and ownership and no follow up resulting in fire drills and blame game on a daily basis. About half of the staff are contract/temp employees with no path to full time and are promised full time status to lead them on to stay longer. Turn over is probably about 50% which should tell you all you need to know.
