- Project churn due to turnover of senior management. 3 SRA presidents in past 3 years. - Heavy-handed control from HQ. - Exclusion of non-Korean speakers. I sat through many meetings with or at HQ that were 100% in Korean. Key discussion in important local meetings usually in Korean. You learn to smile and tune out. - Extremely aggressive competition between different groups within SRA, and between SRA, different parts of HQ and other over-seas centers. Leaders from other centers will tell you privately not to try and compete with them. But then they're all smiles when the boss is in the room. Nasty. Juvenile. Broken. - Constant complaints at all levels about how expensive Silicon Valley is and how anything you propose should be done somewhere else, for much less money. - Stressed out local managers. Who will leave first? You or your manager?
