SF Opera, like most major opera companies, has faced financial hardship. New leadership appears to understand these challenges and the practicalities of facing them, but does so with an eye to capitalizing on the artistic opportunities those very challenges provide. More work to do, but things seem to be headed very much in the right direction.
Dedicated people at the top of their field work closely together every day to make these massive productions happen at the highest artistic level.

Financially challenges and re-building of some infrastructure, but this process is essential and healthy for the company in the long run.
