Benefits are very bottom line oriented-
Health care program forces you to doctor at Sanford while being an employee- others are out of network. Basic benefits not offered by company- no maternity or paternity leave- FMLA only, all leaves, short term disability, etc., goes through third company called Unum that is terrible to work with. Human Resources is also just as terrible to work with internally at Sanford. Company forces you to use “holiday PTO” for every major holiday which means using your regular PTO- even though they claim to provide enough for both situations. Environment is very clique oriented in that many have already established social groups and cultures that you must either find a way to try to coexist with or spend a lot of effort trying to enter.
