Pros

-Amazing benefits, vacation time, pension (though discontinued for new salaried employees) -Lots of great people to work with, always something to do, new challenges, etc.

Cons

Unless you're on the very bottom of the totem pole, you notice that your development path leaves something to be desired. Whenever they are vacated, all higher up positions are eliminated or filled with management from France so there's very little hope of ever getting that amazing promotion, HR is atrocious. They have no desire to help the employees, no coverage for outside learning and when you get a promotion to another department, they'll fight your new boss on lowering your salary despite the fact that he wants to pay you what you asked for. There is a general attitude towards less senior people that they should show up, do their job, go home and be thankful they have a job. There is zero ability to get help on a development plan or make your ambitions known outside your department, which seriously hampers your opportunities on such a large site. The site in general seems to get the short end of the stick from France. Equipment is older than it should be, staffing is always a little less than it should be, there always seems to be a reactionary project happening with deadlines that are way too short.

Pros

You Learn a lot about GMP/Pharmaceutical Industry since its heavily regulated by the FDA. The pay is good for the position.

Cons

There are limited opportunities for career advancement, particularly for contractors. Training is generally restricted to the specific process equipment required for assigned tasks, with little opportunity for broader skill development. Additionally, the workplace culture can be challenging. Some long-tenured employees appear to feel entitled to treat others disrespectfully, creating a toxic work environment. Their seniority often seems to shield them from accountability, as concerns raised with management frequently go unaddressed. There also appears to be a lack of diversity and inclusion, which contributes to workplace microaggressions, disrespectful behavior, and an environment where not all employees feel equally valued or respected. There is limited opportunity for contractors being hired on a full time basis, they have to leave the company for six months before they can be hired back! No company benefits for contractors!
