Pros

All the large corporate benefits with a small company feel. Management understands family comes first. Alternate work week a plus!

Cons

The majority of the staff is long-tenured. Change can be a challenge.

Pros

Some friendly sales people work here.

Cons

Everyone is siloed. Management doesn’t collaborate well. General business methods are archaic and out dated. Management says they want to make improvements but reject any offers to improve processes. I’ve never seen a more change resistant organization. It’s really sad because there’s a lot of smart people working there, but their business processes are so dysfunctional and broken and many people who have worked there for a long time have no intention to change anything or make things better so that the company can improve its reputation. I was told by many individuals in the company that “we have a really bad reputation of being difficult to work with and orders taking an extremely long time to process.” It’s true. Overall, the company has a very negative vibe. The office is broken down and under constant repair from flooding, there is mold. The employee bathrooms are small and disgusting. The entire place smells musty and gross. Managers have much more flexibility in their schedule and are allowed to work remotely and come and laid and leave early, but the worker bees are micromanaged to a degree that makes the workplace seem more like a prison than a place of actual business.
